Senior Construction Superintendent – GTA

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Construction Superintendent to lead large‑scale capital projects in the Greater Toronto Area. The role oversees all site activities from start to finish, ensuring safety, schedule, quality and budget are met.

Key responsibilities

• Champion the Health & Safety program on‑site and drive measurable KPI improvements.
• Plan, organise, lead and evaluate daily site activities, coordinating trades, subcontractors and internal staff.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks before they impact the project schedule or budget.
• Review and coordinate critical material delivery schedules and logistics.
• Direct foremen and tradespeople, ensuring on‑time delivery and quality of civil work and finishes.
• Analyse root causes of issues and develop strategic corrective plans.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Superintendent on $40M+ capital projects.
• Strong character – drive, accountability, integrity and self‑awareness.
• Comfortable communicating with diverse audiences including trades, steel, transport and end‑users.
• Gold Seal and Last Planner certifications are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with scheduling and project‑management software.
• Strong working knowledge of General Conditions of Contract.
• Health & Safety program implementation.
• Risk analysis and mitigation.

• Finishes execution.

• Base salary $145,000–$155,000 CAD plus $14,000–$15,000 CAD variable bonus.
