Senior Construction Administrator

About the role

As a Senior Construction Administrator based in Toronto, you will act as the primary liaison between internal teams, clients, contractors, and consultants during the construction phase. You will ensure that projects are executed in line with design intent, specifications, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Attend site meetings and conduct field reviews.
• Monitor construction progress and identify coordination conflicts.
• Review and process RFIs, change orders, shop drawings, and progress claims.
• Support project close‑out activities and documentation.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Educational background in mechanical or electrical engineering, construction, or related building systems discipline.
• Intermediate experience in construction administration, consulting engineering, or MEP contracting.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical distribution, lighting, and controls.
• Experience with field reviews, construction inspections, and interpreting drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Valid Ontario driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD (asset).
• Familiarity with Revit (asset).
