Senior Clinical Research Coordinator – XeMRI & MBW Lead

About the role

The Division of Respiratory Medicine at UBC is seeking a senior Clinical Research Coordinator to lead the XeMRI and Multiple Breath Washout (MBW) registries. This full‑time position provides advanced coordination for investigator‑initiated and academic clinical trials, with a focus on pediatric respiratory research.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the MRH and iMRH registries, including participant enrollment, scheduling, and data collection.
• Coordinate maintenance, consumables, and vendor communication for MBW and XeMRI equipment.
• Organize and lead monthly registry meetings with investigators, staff, and clinical teams.
• Ensure data quality, protocol adherence, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage non‑registry academic clinical trials: recruit participants, conduct study visits, and handle follow‑ups.
• Liaise with study monitors, sponsors, and external collaborators.
• Support data management, reporting, and regulatory documentation across all studies.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical support for registry and trial activities.

Required profile

• Senior research professional with extensive experience in respiratory clinical research.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage complex study operations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to interact with faculty, clinical staff, and external partners.
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior research personnel.
