About the role
WSP is seeking a Senior BIM Designer to join its Water‑Wastewater group in Canada. The role involves preparing contract drawings from survey to tender and creating 3D models of wet and dry utilities.
Key responsibilities
- Produce 2D/3D civil engineering drawings and models using Civil 3D and MicroStation.
- Prepare plan and profile drawings, sections and standard details.
- Coordinate with designers and project managers, interpret design mark‑ups and as‑builts.
- Develop 3D models of wet and dry utilities following pressure and gravity network guidelines.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in a civil‑engineering related field.
- 10+ years of experience with Civil 3D, MicroStation and InRoads designing water mains, sewers and dry utilities.
- Strong knowledge of municipal engineering concepts and CAD standards.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
