Senior Analyst, Credit Risk & Collections

About the role

The Senior Analyst, Credit Risk & Collections will support the development, management and continuous improvement of customer risk management processes for PC Mastercard and PC Money products. The role uses quantitative analysis, financial assessment and test‑and‑learn methods to optimise limit management, APR pricing, delinquency, collections and related credit‑risk decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, monitor and refine customer risk strategies across limit management, APR pricing, delinquency, collections and payment holds.
• Own optimisation opportunities, conduct quantitative analysis, performance monitoring and test‑and‑learn experiments to assess effectiveness and identify improvements.
• Develop evidence‑based recommendations and present findings to leadership to influence policy and strategy decisions.
• Support implementation of analytical workstreams, providing validation, documentation and stakeholder updates.
• Build and maintain working knowledge of credit systems such as TSYS and TRIAD to support strategy design and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (e.g., economics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, operations research).
• 1–2 years of progressive experience analysing problems, implementing solutions and validating results.
• Proficiency with data management and reporting tools such as Python and SQL, and with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of the credit‑card lifecycle, profit‑and‑loss drivers and familiarity with credit‑card host systems (TSYS preferred).
• Experience with adaptive control systems (e.g., TRIAD, FICO Strategy Director, Experian PowerCurve) and analytical tools such as SAS, PySpark or R is an asset.
