About the role
British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI) is seeking a Senior Analyst or Associate to join its Financial Reporting & Valuations team in Victoria. The role will support the evolution of financial reporting amid growing complexity, including the integration of ESG reporting into existing processes.
Key responsibilities
- Work across complex investment structures and contribute to system enhancements.
- Develop modern reporting approaches leveraging data, automation, and AI.
- Maintain strong audit and governance standards for financial statements.
- Resolve IFRS accounting and valuation issues across all asset classes.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to improve efficiency and forward‑looking reporting practices.
Required profile
- Deep knowledge of IFRS technical standards.
- Strong accounting precision and analytical ability.
- Experience in public practice is an asset.
- Ability to influence reporting processes and work collaboratively.
