Senior Accountant

About the role

BinSentry is seeking a Senior Accountant who thrives in an agile environment and is passionate about building scalable processes. This hands‑on role offers significant growth potential for someone ready to own key accounting functions and make an impact.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee complex general ledger accounts, including deferred revenue, inventory, and cost of goods sold.
• Prepare journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and conduct variance analysis during month‑end close.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with ASPE.
• Liaise with external auditors, providing audit requests and supporting schedules for an efficient audit process.
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy as the company scales.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Operations, Sales, and Development teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3‑5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• CPA designation (or in progress).
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Strong analytical and logical problem‑solving abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to perform under tight timelines in a fast‑paced environment.

• NetSuite (preferred)
