Senior Accountant

About the role

Toronto Global is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Finance team on a full‑time permanent basis. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will manage full‑cycle accounting, cash management, payroll, funding claims, OMERS, reconciliations and general‑ledger maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and year‑end financial statements and variance reports.
• Liaise with external accountants to compile audit working papers and ensure audit completion.
• Develop projected cash‑flow analyses and support the Director in annual budgeting and reforecasting.
• Manage cash management, payroll processing, funding claims, OMERS contributions and general‑ledger reconciliations.

Required profile

• Energetic collaborator with experience in both private and non‑profit or public‑sector accounting.
• Proven full‑cycle accounting experience.
• Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting and variance analysis.
