About the Position
Join a leading industry player as an Account Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through a consultative sales approach. Your mission is to safeguard our existing client base while strategically expanding our market footprint through expert negotiation and relationship management.
Main Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by implementing robust client retention strategies and managing existing B2B commercial relationships.
- Execute the "Save, Secure, and Convert" strategy by handling cancellation requests, securing new contractual agreements, and converting non-contracted clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all customer service escalations within the defined territory.
- Develop and deliver detailed business proposals and tailored solutions that align with client needs and environmental regulations.
- Conduct field visits and attend industry conferences/symposiums to network and identify new business opportunities.
- Manage the sales pipeline, from prospecting and lead generation to closing high-value deals.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in B2B sales, account management, or consultative selling.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successfully preserving business and securing long-term contracts.
- Ability to work independently in a remote/field-based environment (WFH with frequent client visits).
- Must physically reside in the Edmonton area.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build high-impact, trust-based relationships.
