Seasonal Sales Associate (Retail)

Join the loudest store in the mall! We're looking for music and pop‑culture fanatics to create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Seasonal Sales Associate you’ll provide top‑notch service, share your fandom knowledge, stock and replenish merchandise, and keep the store visually appealing.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver an amazing shopping experience that encourages repeat visits, showcasing product knowledge and customer‑service skills.
• Maintain visual standards on the sales floor and keep assigned zones tidy.
• Operate the register, process sales, and drive add‑on purchases using BOPIS and curbside‑pickup options.
• Assist with planogram changes, including store maps, wall fixtures, and merchandising mixes.
• Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and HQ partners.
• Help prevent theft by monitoring for misuse of “spells” and other irregularities.
• Keep the stockroom organized and support overall store cleanliness.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily goals and complete any additional tasks assigned by the Store Leader.

Required profile

• Previous retail experience.
• Strong customer‑service and sales abilities.
• At least 16 years of age.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products with approved equipment, and lift boxes up to 50 lb.
