About the role

Join the loudest store in the mall as a Seasonal Sales Associate at Hot Topic. You’ll help fans discover and purchase the music, pop‑culture, and fashion merchandise they love while delivering an energetic, customer‑focused experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages repeat visits, using product knowledge and customer‑service skills.
• Maintain visual standards on the sales floor, covering assigned zones and assisting with planogram changes.
• Operate the register, process transactions, and promote add‑on sales such as BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and corporate partners.
• Help keep the stockroom organized and the store tidy, including unpacking and stocking merchandise up to 50 lb.
• Collaborate with the team to prevent theft and ensure a safe shopping environment.

Required profile

• Previous experience working in a retail environment.
• Strong customer‑service and sales abilities.
• At least 16 years of age.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and handle boxes weighing up to 50 lb.
