Seasonal Customer Service Representative

About the role

Reporting to the Retail Manager – Operations, the Customer Service Representative provides quality support in an inbound call centre, handling orders, inquiries and complaints for Bass Pro Shops customers.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.
• Process orders and transactions using POS and SAP systems, ensuring compliance with identification and age requirements.
• Resolve customer issues with sound judgment, escalating to a manager when necessary.
• Assist asset protection by checking products, price switches and handling security devices.
• Perform opening and closing duties such as stocking supplies, cash wrap management and maintaining a tidy work area.
• Support other store areas as business needs dictate.

Required profile

• One or more years of experience in a sales or service environment (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Ability to deliver superior customer service and exceed expectations.
• Good judgment and logical problem‑solving skills.
• Interest or experience in outdoor lifestyle products.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Point‑of‑Sale (POS) systems.
• Experience using SAP inventory software.
• Knowledge of debit and credit card processing procedures.
