Satellite Electrical Power System (EPS) Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Satellite Electrical Power System (EPS) Design Engineer to lead concept, detailed design, analysis, verification and integration of power subsystems for LEO/MEO remote‑sensing and communications satellites. The role works remotely with multidisciplinary spacecraft teams across payload, bus, thermal, structural, avionics and mission systems.

Key responsibilities

• Define EPS architectures, perform trade studies on solar cells, batteries and regulator topologies, and develop system requirements and interface control documents.
• Size and evaluate solar arrays, power‑conditioning units, battery packs and distribution units; build high‑fidelity electrical models and conduct load‑flow, thermal‑power and survivability analyses.
• Author verification plans, support ground‑test campaigns (thermal‑vacuum, EMI/EMC, integration), analyze test data and resolve anomalies.
• Mentor junior engineers, lead multidisciplinary activities and serve as technical liaison with customers and vendors.

Required profile

• 8+ years of EPS design experience on LEO/MEO satellite platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, Physics or related field.
• Hands‑on experience with systems integration, testing and troubleshooting.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English; French is a plus.
