SAP Tax Senior Analyst – Montreal

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Tax Senior Analyst to join our Advanced Technology Centers in Montreal. The role focuses on analysing tax processes, defining future‑state solutions and supporting SAP S/4HANA tax implementations across finance functions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse current organisational tax processes and identify gaps with SAP S/4HANA.
• Gather detailed business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Design and document future‑state tax solutions covering AP, AR, GL and cross‑functional integrations.
• Configure SAP FI‑Taxes and related FICO components, ensuring alignment with direct and indirect tax regulations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement, test and stabilise tax solutions post‑go‑live.
• Continuously seek automation and optimisation opportunities for tax processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in SAP tax, with at least one full implementation of SAP Direct or Indirect Taxes.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with the capacity to work independently and as a subject‑matter expert.
• Excellent English communication skills; French is a plus.

Required skills

• SAP FI‑Taxes (AP/AR) and SAP FICO.
• SAP S/4HANA tax functionality.
• Knowledge of SAP Direct and Indirect Tax modules.
