About the role
We are looking for a Sales Representative to join Chit Chats Express in Ontario. The role focuses on acquiring new B2B clients for our supply‑chain and logistics services, helping Canadian entrepreneurs ship their products globally. You will work closely with the Sales Manager and internal teams to turn qualified opportunities into active shipping customers.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound outreach, inbound leads, referrals, marketplace research and re‑activation campaigns.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand client shipping volume, current carriers, pain points and growth potential.
- Qualify prospects based on commercial fit, shipping profile, compliance requirements and expected revenue.
- Prepare basic pricing comparisons, savings summaries and proposals tailored to each client.
- Maintain accurate lead, opportunity and client information in the CRM and track all outreach activity.
- Collaborate with Sales Manager, Data, Product and Operations to address complex pricing or service‑fit questions.
- Coordinate hand‑off to Onboarding and Account Management for a smooth transition after the deal is closed.
- Provide feedback on client needs to inform future product and service improvements.
Required profile
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple prospects through a sales pipeline.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑growing, entrepreneurial environment.
