About the role
The Sales Clerk provides front‑line service in a fast‑paced retail environment, handling transactions and assisting customers with product selections. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring a smooth and pleasant shopping experience.
Key responsibilities
- Accept cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit payments.
- Operate the cash register efficiently.
- Greet customers and discuss the type, quality and quantity of merchandise they seek.
- Recommend products or services based on customer needs.
Required profile
- Adaptable and able to work under pressure.
- Energetic, hardworking and a quick learner.
- Team player with strong punctuality and maturity.
- Resourceful and efficient in handling repetitive tasks.
