Sales Associate – Retail (Part‑Time)

About the role

Join the loudest store in the mall as a Sales Associate, helping music and pop‑culture fans find the merch they love. You’ll deliver top‑notch customer service, keep the sales floor visually appealing, and support store operations in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages repeat visits, using strong product knowledge and customer‑service skills.
• Cover assigned sales‑floor zones and maintain visual standards for displays and fixtures.
• Operate the register, process transactions, and drive add‑on sales through BOPIS, curbside pickup, and other services.
• Assist with planogram changes, including store map updates, wall and fixture adjustments, and merchandising mix.
• Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and corporate partners.
• Help prevent theft by working with store management to monitor misuse of store assets.
• Maintain an organized stock room and keep the store tidy.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily goals and complete any additional tasks assigned by the Store Leader.

Required profile

• Previous experience working in a retail environment and a passion for music and pop culture.
• Superb customer‑service and sales abilities, often described as “superpowers.”
• At least 16 years of age.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, able to work effectively with teammates and management.
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products using approved equipment, and handle boxes up to 50 lb.
• Willingness to support store upkeep, stock organization, and visual merchandising.
