Sales Assistant (Part-Time)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic, customer‑focused Sales Assistant to join our retail team at The UPS Store #547 in Calgary. This part‑time position involves assisting customers with shipping, printing, and store services while delivering a friendly and professional experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers with domestic and international shipping, including packing and recommending appropriate solutions.
• Process shipments, returns, mailbox rentals, and other store services.
• Design, prepare, and print business cards, flyers, brochures, posters, banners, and other marketing materials using digital printing and finishing equipment.
• Answer customer inquiries in person, by phone, and by email.
• Handle cash, POS transactions, and daily store operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment.

Required profile

• Previous experience working at a UPS Store (required).
• Familiarity with UPS shipping systems and store operations.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with wide‑format printing and finishing equipment.
• Knowledge of graphic design and print production.
• Sales experience with the ability to upsell products and services.
