SaaS Contracting Attorney (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned SaaS Contracting Attorney to join our remote team on an hourly contract basis. You will work closely with product and research groups to evaluate AI‑generated contract suggestions, ensure legal soundness, and help shape our technology‑focused legal processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining for SaaS agreements.
• Assess AI‑generated contract recommendations for accuracy, risk, and compliance.
• Review AI responses to legal scenarios and provide detailed expert feedback.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to refine training data and guidelines.
• Draft, review, and negotiate technology and SaaS contracts.
• Identify legal risks and propose mitigation strategies within contract workflows.
• Contribute to the improvement of AI‑driven contract review systems and processes.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) with an active bar membership in good standing.
• Extensive experience in SaaS contract review, negotiation, and redlining.
• Strong background in technology transactions and in‑house legal environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with meticulous attention to detail.
• Analytical mindset capable of translating legal expertise into actionable insights.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced remote setting.
• Interest in legal technology, AI, and data annotation workflows.
