Revenue Accounting Manager

About the role

Pattern Energy is seeking a detail‑oriented Revenue Accounting Manager to own and expand the Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) settlements and revenue accounting function. You will work closely with Commercial Operations, Treasury, Origination, Asset Management and Regulatory teams to ensure accurate revenue capture and strong financial controls.

Key responsibilities

• Design, optimize and scale settlement and revenue accounting workflows for RECs and other green products.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams on process design, internal controls, contract management and customer relations.
• Support the implementation and ongoing use of the Allegro system.
• Manage settlement, billing and invoicing activities, validating generation data, pricing and contract terms.
• Prepare and review customer invoices, journal entries, accruals and account reconciliations for monthly and quarterly closes.
• Investigate and resolve settlement variances, billing issues, invoice disputes and unapplied cash.
• Ensure revenue recognition and financial reporting comply with US GAAP, company policy and contractual requirements.
• Maintain audit‑ready documentation to support SOX compliance and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 8+ years of experience in accounting, revenue accounting, settlements, billing or financial operations.
• CPA certification.
• Strong analytical mindset and collaborative approach.

Required skills

• Allegro accounting system.
• US GAAP knowledge.
• SOX compliance awareness.
