Retail Store Manager

About the role

Delton Grocery is seeking an energetic Retail Store Manager to lead daily operations at its Edmonton location. You will oversee staff, manage inventory, and drive sales while ensuring an inclusive and customer‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and control all daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Plan, organize, and monitor budgets, revenues, and expenses.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise a team of 5‑10 employees.
• Analyze market trends and consumer demand to determine merchandise mix.
• Locate, select, and procure products for resale.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to boost sales.
• Resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages promptly.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation (high school diploma) or equivalent.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory role within a supermarket or grocery setting.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
