About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Retail Store Associates to join our HomeSense team in the Kenaston location of Winnipeg. In this full‑time role you will help create a welcoming shopping environment and support customers throughout their visit.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly attitude and assist them in finding products.
• Perform cashier duties, operate the POS system, and handle transactions accurately.
• Provide fitting‑room assistance and maintain a tidy, organized sales floor.
• Support back‑room operations including stocking, inventory checks, and merchandising.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.

Required profile

• Friendly, approachable and able to create an inclusive atmosphere.
• Team‑oriented with strong communication skills.
• Flexible, organized and able to thrive in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• At least 18 years of age; willingness to undergo a criminal record check.
• No prior retail experience required – full training will be provided.

Required skills

• Basic math and cash handling.
• Ability to operate point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
