About the role

Homesense is seeking enthusiastic Retail Store Associates for its Brentwood location in Calgary. This temporary, part‑time position offers an opportunity to work in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment while gaining retail experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile, answer questions and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Operate the cash register, handle transactions and process returns accurately.
• Assist in fitting rooms, stock the sales floor and maintain a clean, organized store.
• Support back‑room activities such as receiving merchandise and replenishing shelves.
• Participate in training and development programs to build product knowledge and sales skills.
• Collaborate with teammates to achieve daily sales targets and store standards.

Required profile

• Friendly, approachable and able to create an inclusive atmosphere for shoppers.
• Strong team player who communicates clearly and supports colleagues.
• Flexible and organized, able to adapt to a busy, changing retail environment.
• Willingness to learn; no prior experience required as training is provided.
