Retail Store Associate – Customer Service & Sales

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Retail Store Associates to join our Homesense team in Thunder Bay. In this full-time position you will help create a welcoming shopping environment and support customers throughout their visit.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly attitude and assist them in finding products.
• Perform cashier duties, operate the point-of-sale system, and handle transactions accurately.
• Support fitting rooms, back-room operations, and maintain store cleanliness.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and deliver excellent service.

• Friendly, approachable, and able to create an inclusive atmosphere.
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Adaptable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Willingness to learn; no prior experience required as training will be provided.
