Retail Salesperson

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Retail Salesperson to join our Calgary store. You will be the front‑line representative, helping customers find the right food and confectionery products while ensuring smooth checkout experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Accept cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit payments and operate the cash register.
• Maintain accurate sales and inventory records using computerized systems.
• Provide product advice, promote items and assist with merchandising displays.
• Perform data entry tasks related to sales and inventory control.
• Operate the video lottery terminal where applicable.
• Greet customers, discuss their needs and prepare merchandise for purchase, rental or lease.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1 to less than 2 years of retail or sales experience.
• Availability for early‑morning, evening, shift, morning or night schedules.

Required skills

• Cash register operation.
• Basic inventory management using computer systems.
• Data entry proficiency.
