Retail Sales Associate – Specialty Shop

About the role

Join Knifewear Group as a Retail Sales Associate in a specialty shop environment in Calgary. You will be the front‑line representative, helping customers find the right products while delivering a friendly, professional experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, discuss product features, quality and pricing, and assist with purchases, rentals or leases.
• Process payments by cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit.
• Maintain merchandise displays and ensure the shop is clean, air‑conditioned and non‑smoking.
• Provide product advice and answer customer inquiries.
• Prepare items for sale, rental or lease, handling up to 23 kg (50 lb) as needed.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of retail or sales experience.
• Collaborative, outgoing, and punctual with a positive attitude.
• Strong oral communication and client‑focused mindset.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and a mix of sitting, standing and walking.
