About the role
Granby Meat Company Ltd is seeking a part‑time Retail Customer Service Associate to join its store in Grand Forks, BC. The role involves interacting with customers, handling sales transactions, and supporting the daily operations of a traditional butcher shop that also offers spices, BBQ equipment and other culinary products.
Key responsibilities
- Operate the cash register and process customer purchases.
- Prepare sandwiches, wrap items, and slice meat or cheese as needed.
- Receive deliveries, stock shelves, and maintain product displays.
- Track inventory and assist with ordering.
- Clean equipment, workstations, and the retail area.
Required profile
- Enthusiastic about learning the company’s meat and product range.
- Friendly and able to connect with customers.
- Disciplined, focused and willing to develop skills in equipment operation and product handling.
What we offer
- Hourly wage $18.75–$22.00.
- On‑site parking.
- Paid vacation time.
- Flexible scheduling (Tuesday‑Saturday, 4‑6 hours per day).
