About the role

The ReStore Floor Associate supports the Habitat for Humanity Saskatchewan ReStore team by delivering excellent customer service, handling inventory, and maintaining a welcoming store environment. This entry‑level position is ideal for individuals who share Habitat’s mission of providing affordable homes.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer inquiries and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Receive, sort, price and stock donated items, maintaining organized displays.
• Operate the cash register, process transactions and assist with opening/closing duties.
• Support volunteers by directing tasks and ensuring compliance with store policies.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety standards and a secure environment for staff and shoppers.

Required skills

• Experience with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Basic computer proficiency for email and reporting.
• Ability to lift and move donations up to 30 lb and stand for extended periods.
