Restaurant Utility & Dishwasher – Airport Location

About the role

Join SSP Canada’s team at Toronto Pearson International Airport as a Restaurant Utility/Dishwasher. You will play a vital part in keeping the restaurant environment clean, safe, and ready for guests, ensuring a positive dining experience in a high‑traffic airport setting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain hygienic work areas by cleaning floors, walls, windows, equipment, and service counters.
• Clear and reset tables between seatings and transport service‑ware to the kitchen.
• Scrape food residues and wash dishes, pots, and pans by hand or using the dishwasher, then store them properly.
• Sanitize equipment with approved chemicals and operate any required heavy‑cleaning equipment.
• Load and unload supply deliveries, stock, date, rotate, and monitor food temperatures.

Required profile

• Minimum six months experience in a retail or food‑service environment.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English for guest interaction and instructions.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lb, stand for long periods, and work in confined or cold storage spaces.
• Eligibility for Transport Canada Security Clearance and a Restricted Area Identification Card.

Required skills

• Food handler’s permit (as required by law).
• Brand certification (as required).
