Restaurant Server – Full Table Service

About the role

Stanley's Bar and Grill is seeking an enthusiastic Restaurant Server to join its team at the historic Stanley Park Pavilion in Vancouver. You will be responsible for delivering a memorable dining experience by providing attentive, knowledgeable service in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, take orders, and serve food and beverages with full table service.
• Prepare and deliver meals and drinks promptly, including wine service when required.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper food‑handling procedures throughout the shift.
• Operate the POS system, handle cash‑out, and ensure accurate billing.
• Promote a safe work environment by following HAACP, Food Safe, and company safety policies.
• Provide local area knowledge and recommend beverage pairings to enhance guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of serving experience in a restaurant setting.
• Current Serving It Right certification.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays and in varied weather conditions.
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 lb and stand for extended periods.
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and teamwork orientation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS systems, preferably Profitek.
• Knowledge of HAACP and Food Safe food‑handling standards.
• Holding a valid Serving It Right certification.
