Restaurant Manager – Operations & Budget Oversight

About the role

The Restaurant Manager will oversee daily operations at C4U Cafe in Vancouver, ensuring profitability, quality service, and compliance with health and safety standards. This full‑time, permanent position requires a hands‑on leader who can balance budgeting, staff management, and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and develop budgets for food, beverages, supplies, and labour costs.
• Adjust menu pricing and food preparation methods to meet budget targets.
• Monitor revenues, balance cash, and complete financial reports.
• Plan and organize daily operations, including staff scheduling for mornings, evenings, days and weekends.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate staff performance, conducting regular performance reviews.
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure health‑ and safety regulations are followed.
• Handle customer complaints, provide excellent service, and participate in marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1 to less than 2 years of experience managing a restaurant or similar food‑service operation.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, mornings, days and weekends.
