About the role
We are seeking a proactive Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations at Chopstix Filipino Restaurant in Calgary. You will be responsible for maintaining profitability, ensuring high‑quality service, and overseeing staff performance.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and develop budgets for food, ingredients, supplies, and labour costs.
- Monitor revenues, adjust menu pricing, and control expenses to boost profits.
- Recruit, schedule, train, and supervise a team of 1‑2 staff members.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and provincial liquor regulations.
- Maintain inventory, negotiate with suppliers, and handle cash balances and reporting.
- Address customer complaints, manage events, and contribute to marketing initiatives.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
- Smart Serve and Safe Food Handling certifications.
