About the role
The Restaurant Manager will lead daily operations at Masala Kingdom in Yellowknife, ensuring profitability while delivering excellent customer service. This role combines financial oversight, staff leadership, and compliance with health and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and develop budgets for food, alcohol, supplies and labour costs.
- Monitor revenues, adjust menu pricing and food preparation methods to meet budget targets.
- Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate staff performance.
- Maintain inventory, negotiate with suppliers and handle catering contracts.
- Balance cash, prepare balance sheets and related financial reports.
- Address customer complaints and ensure high‑quality service.
Required profile
- College/CEGEP education.
- 1 to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and strong health‑and‑safety awareness.
