Restaurant Manager

About the role

Masakali Indian RestoBar is seeking a proactive Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations at its Ottawa location. You will be responsible for maintaining profitability, ensuring excellent customer service, and fostering a supportive team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze budgets and monitor revenues to control labour costs and boost profits.
• Plan, organize, and supervise daily restaurant operations.
• Recruit, schedule, train, and evaluate a team of 5‑10 staff members.
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Negotiate catering contracts and address customer complaints promptly.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑player with a client‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Excel.
• Experience using MS Office suite (Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
