About the role
We are seeking a proactive Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations at our Markham location. The role involves overseeing staff, ensuring smooth service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and coaching.
- Plan, organize, and execute daily restaurant operations.
- Recruit, schedule, and train team members.
- Define service offerings and implement operational procedures.
- Manage inventory levels and maintain stock accuracy.
- Negotiate with suppliers for food and other supplies.
- Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
Required profile
- College or CEGEP education.
- 1–2 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
Required skills
- Staff scheduling and performance monitoring.
- Inventory management and supplier negotiation.
- Customer service and complaint handling.
