Restaurant Manager - Braven

About the role

Oliver & Bonacini is hiring a Restaurant Manager for its Braven restaurant in Edmonton. The manager reports to the General Manager and works closely with the front-of-house and back-of-house teams, helping to create a warm, welcoming guest experience. Braven is described as a modern steakhouse led by Chef Anthony Walsh.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to all aspects of the restaurant with the management team, including recruitment, training, coaching, payroll, invoicing, ordering, inventory, scheduling and productivity.
• Oversee the bar and beverage program, ensuring quality, consistency, profitability and execution.
• Develop and maintain high service standards and curate creative cocktail menus, introducing new products and keeping up with beverage trends.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and bring strong knowledge of wine, spirits, beer and cocktails; a WSET Intermediate Wine Certificate is a strong asset.
• Build relationships with guests, team members, suppliers and senior management, and lead by example.

Required profile

• Desired: 3+ years of supervisory or management experience in a restaurant environment.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization in a fast-paced environment, able to manage a large and variable workload.
