About the role
We are looking for a motivated Restaurant Cook to join Common's Creperie cafe in Rothesay. The successful candidate will prepare and cook a variety of French, Canadian and international dishes in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
Key responsibilities
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies and maintain inventory records.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas for cleanliness and safety compliance.
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques and safe handling.
- Order supplies and equipment, supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
- Clean kitchen and work areas and manage overall kitchen operations.
Required profile
- Dependable and flexible with strong initiative.
- Good judgment, organized and reliable.
- Team player with effective time‑management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a physically demanding environment.
