Research Assistant – Therapeutics Initiative

About the role

The Therapeutics Initiative at UBC seeks a Research Assistant to support two key projects within the Faculty of Medicine: a CIHR‑funded mixed‑method study and an ongoing Education Working Group. This full‑time position will involve coordinating research activities, managing ethics documentation, and assisting with outreach and education efforts across British Columbia.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, amend, and renew ethics applications and coordinate data‑access requests.
• Recruit participants, collect and manage research data for the CIHR‑funded SAFER project.
• Support co‑design and qualitative components of the audit‑and‑feedback intervention.
• Assist with outreach, education, and administrative tasks for the Education Working Group.
• Provide research assistance and coordination for related projects as needed.
