Research Assistant – Digital Emergency Medicine

About the role

The University of British Columbia is seeking a Research Assistant to join the Digital Emergency Medicine team within the Department of Emergency Medicine. The role supports a portfolio of digital health projects that span technology‑enabled innovations, community engagement, and collaborative partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Support digital health projects using both quantitative and qualitative research methods.
• Evaluate the efficacy of digital health interventions and contribute to program evaluation.
• Assist in the development of funding proposals for the research office.
• Contribute to learning‑technology initiatives and community‑based health research.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance digital health literacy.

• Interest in digital health, emergency medicine, and community engagement.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a research team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
