Remote Trial Lawyer – Litigation Expert for AI Modeling

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned trial lawyer to support the creation of advanced legal reasoning models. This remote position involves applying your civil litigation expertise to design realistic case scenarios and evaluate AI‑generated outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Design realistic litigation scenarios, including motions, discovery strategies, depositions, briefs, and case analyses.
• Produce high‑quality reference responses that meet attorney‑level standards.
• Evaluate model‑generated outputs using structured rubrics and provide detailed written feedback.
• Participate in onboarding sessions and calibration exercises to align model performance with legal best practices.

Required profile

• Strong experience in civil litigation within a law firm, government agency, or in‑house legal department.
• Licensed legal practitioner holding a J.D., LL.B., or LL.M. from an accredited institution.
• Familiarity with litigation workflows such as motion practice, discovery, and case strategy development.
• Excellent written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
