Remote Recruiter (Contract) – Up to $60/hr

About the role

Mercor is seeking a proactive Recruiter to join its fully remote team on a contract basis. You will partner with hiring managers across elite AI research labs to attract top creative and technical talent.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment: sourcing, outreach, screening, interview coordination, and offer management.
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines using job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and other channels.
• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements, interview processes, and hiring criteria.
• Track recruiting metrics such as time‑to‑fill, pipeline volume, and conversion rates, reporting progress regularly.
• Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

Required profile

• 2+ years of recruiting experience in an agency or in‑house setting.
• Strong sourcing abilities across platforms and proficiency with Boolean search techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
• Familiarity with ATS tools and standard recruiting workflows.
