Remote HR Assistant (Global)

About the role

We are seeking a highly organized, people‑focused HR Assistant to join our fully remote team. The role supports a global workforce of over 100 team members, handling day‑to‑day HR administration while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to team member inquiries with empathy and a solutions‑first mindset, escalating special cases as needed.
• Prepare reports, documentation, and internal communications for the HR department.
• Conduct background checks and reference verifications via email.
• Maintain accurate records across multiple systems, including data entry, auditing, and report distribution.
• Coordinate the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, status changes, and internal transitions.
• Manage access, accounts, and permissions in tools such as Google Workspace and BambooHR.
• Create and update SOPs, checklists, and process documentation.
• Assist with recruitment activities, including interview coordination and participation as you grow.
