Remote Family Medicine Physician – $130‑$180/hr

About the role

Mercor is seeking experienced Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians to provide primary care services remotely. This part‑time, hourly contract role allows you to deliver comprehensive care to patients of all ages while working from anywhere in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care, including health assessments, routine check‑ups, and chronic disease management.
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and long‑term conditions.
• Develop and manage personalized treatment plans based on each patient’s history and clinical needs.
• Promote preventive health through screenings, immunizations, and patient education.
• Coordinate with specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
• Uphold evidence‑based medicine practices to optimize patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with specialization in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Valid medical license to practice in applicable U.S. jurisdictions.
• Demonstrated clinical expertise in preventive and acute care settings.
• Strong interpersonal, diagnostic, and communication abilities.
• Commitment to patient advocacy, compassion, and continuity of care.
