About the role

Affidavit Services is seeking a qualified Commissioner to conduct remote affidavit and statutory declaration appointments for clients across Ontario. This fully remote position enables you to work from home while providing professional, compliant document commissioning through secure video meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Verify client identities and ensure documents are complete.
• Witness signatures, administer oaths or affirmations as required.
• Maintain accurate appointment records and secure client information.
• Provide clear explanations of the commissioning process and deliver exceptional client service.
• Escalate complex or unusual situations according to company policies.

Required profile

• Currently appointed as a Commissioner for Taking Affidavits in Ontario, or eligible and willing to complete the appointment process.
• Strong understanding of Ontario commissioning regulations and professional responsibilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple appointments efficiently.
