Reliability Technician – Vibration Analysis

About the role

Join Laurentide’s maintenance team as a Reliability Technician focused on vibration analysis. You will work under the Operations Supervisor, providing predictive monitoring services to help customers avoid unplanned shutdowns across Eastern Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Perform vibration, thermographic and ultrasonic measurements on industrial equipment.
• Collect oil samples for condition analysis.
• Analyze data using specialised software and document the results.
• Develop technical reports with recommendations and communicate them to clients.
• Execute precision corrective tasks such as dynamic balancing, laser and geometric alignment.
• Support implementation programmes to improve plant reliability, including lubrication strategies and preventive‑maintenance optimisation.

Required profile

• DEP or DEC in mechanical engineering or industrial maintenance (experience is an asset but not mandatory).
• Professional attitude with strong autonomy, initiative and client‑focused mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in French; English proficiency is a plus.
• Ability to produce clear, concise reports.
• Willingness to travel throughout Eastern Canada.
• Proficiency with Windows and MS Office.
