Relationship Marketing Specialist – French Services (Hybrid)

About the role

The Relationship Marketing Specialist will support French‑language services at CBC/Radio‑Canada by creating and executing digital marketing campaigns, producing newsletters, and engaging audiences across multiple platforms. This 12‑month fixed‑term position blends remote work with occasional on‑site collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor current events, trends and industry developments relevant to the department.
• Develop and coordinate high‑impact relationship‑marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
• Research, curate and verify information from various sources for content creation.
• Create newsletters and push notifications using Adestra and Airship, selecting and licensing visual assets.
• Write engaging copy for editorial calendars, adapting tone for each platform.
• Integrate hyperlinks, proofread copy, and assist colleagues with editing.
• Organise and moderate interactive activities such as forums, live chats and discussion boards.
• Track project progress, respond to audience inquiries and route program‑related questions to appropriate teams.
• Perform any additional tasks related to relationship marketing as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• At least two years of relevant experience in marketing or communications.
• Strong analytical mindset, meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, adapt quickly and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Passion for media, current events and a broad general knowledge base.

Required skills

• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems (asset).
• Familiarity with email‑marketing platforms such as Adestra and Airship (asset).
• Advanced proficiency in French (reading, speaking, writing).
