Registered Pharmacist

About the role

Northern Carleton Pharmacy is seeking a Registered Pharmacist to join its team. The successful candidate will provide high‑quality pharmaceutical care, ensure safe medication dispensing, and support the health of the community through professional counseling and drug administration.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
• Administer drugs by injection and intranasal routes as required.
• Maintain compliance with provincial pharmacy regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient therapy.
• Participate in inventory management and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
• Pharmacy Examining Boards of Canada certification.
• Licensure by the appropriate provincial or territorial authority.
• Certification for drug administration by injection and intranasal route.
• Ability to work day, evening, and weekend shifts.
• Experience is an asset but not mandatory.
