Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department

About the role

Interior Health is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high‑quality care in the Emergency Department of Invermere District Hospital. You will work in a fast‑paced, interdisciplinary environment, delivering patient‑centered care around the clock.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, treat and monitor emergency patients independently and as part of a team.
• Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Apply evidence‑based practice and continuous improvement initiatives in daily nursing care.
• Maintain and advance clinical competence through ongoing education.
• Participate in hospital committees, research projects and quality‑improvement activities as assigned.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in emergency or acute care.
• Reliable, flexible and motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast‑paced setting.
• Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts (07:00‑19:00 and 19:00‑07:00) on a casual basis.
• Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality and professional standards.
