Registered Nurse – Nursing Resource Unit (Casual)

About the role

The Nursing Resource Unit (NRU) at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre seeks compassionate Registered Nurses to fill staffing gaps across the hospital. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver safe, collaborative care in line with UHN’s professional practice model and nursing vision.

Key responsibilities

• Apply nursing science, theory and critical decision‑making to provide high‑quality patient care.
• Ensure practice aligns with College of Nurses of Ontario standards and UHN policies.
• Participate in continuing education and reflective practice to improve care quality.
• Perform cross‑functional duties and other tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (preferred).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Flexibility to work various shifts and adapt to interdisciplinary teams.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of bedside nursing.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
