Registered Nurse – Nursing Resource Team

About the role

The Nursing Resource Team at Michael Garron Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead coordinated care across multiple clinical areas. The RN will provide patient‑centered, evidence‑based care while supporting interdisciplinary teams in both on‑site and off‑site settings.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Coordinated Care Team in care planning, coordination, and delivery.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions, including tracheostomy care, suctioning, chest auscultation, and arterial blood gas interpretation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement and evaluate patient care plans.
• Participate in unit quality initiatives and measurement activities.
• Adapt to unpredictable situations and cross‑train in specialty areas as needed.

Required profile

• Current RN registration with the CNO and a valid BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of recent medical‑surgical nursing experience (within the last 3 years).
• Strong leadership and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Willingness to work in all health‑service locations, including off‑site settings.
• Interest or experience in critical care is an asset.
